#45 DO YOU LIKE PIE?

Two weeks ago they had harvest in Cherryland. There were a lot of apples, cherrys and pumpkins. So the king decided to make a huge pie every day. The picture shows the apple-pies (green), cherry-pies (red) and pumpkin-pies (orange) from the last eleven days. As you already know they have crazy systems in Cherryland. It's the same with the pies.

Find out how this system works. What kind of pie (apple, cherry or pumpkin) will be made today and how many slices will it have?

Correct answer: 7 (apple)

Explanation:

The solution is in the word PIE (PIE=PI*E). If you multiply PI with E you will get the solution:
PI=3.14159265358979...
E=2.71828182845905...
PI*E=8.53973422267...

The number of slices is determined by the nth number in the product PI*E. If the number is a prime number than it will be an apple pie, non-prime even numbers are cherry and non-prime odd numbers are pumpkin.
